Hi, I’m Desta

A licensed Texas REALTOR® helping buyers, sellers and families find their place in Greater Houston.

My name is Sadok Desta Tsega — most people call me Desta. I’m a licensed Texas real estate sales agent (TREC #857472) and a REALTOR® with Desta Real Estate Group, brokered by Real Broker, LLC.

I serve Houston, Pearland, Manvel and the surrounding Greater Houston communities, working with first-time homebuyers, sellers, families relocating to the area, homeowners and investors.

I am a minister of the Gospel, and I love to declare the love of God. That love is at the heart of everything I do — including how I help people with their homes. It makes me truly happy to serve everyone faithfully, with honesty, patience and respect.

My faith shapes how I work, not whom I work with. Every person and family is welcome here, and I serve everyone equally, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability or family status, in full keeping with fair housing laws. You never need to share my beliefs to receive my best service — and you are always free to simply talk about homes.

My story

To me, a home is more than a building. It is a place of rest, a place where families gather, and a place where people feel welcome. Helping someone step into that — whether it is a first home, a new city or a fresh start — is a privilege I take seriously.

I serve the Greater Houston area in English, Amharic and Tigrinya, so that families can ask questions and make big decisions in the language they are most comfortable with. Whether you are buying, selling or just beginning to wonder what is possible, I would be glad to listen first.
